Going Green

The West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges is striving to improve 'Green Skills' in the region. These webpages will offer useful tools and resources for businesses; news, insight and opportunities to engage with us and our partners; and updates on the investment we are driving into green skills in West Yorkshire.

For businesses: The Green Skills Service: An unbiased hub for businesses to access the resources available for green skills, search for live green courses, events, inspiration and resources to become more sustainable.

For stakeholders: The Green Consortium: Colleges and partners working together to develop the region’s green training offer, achieve Sustainable Development Goals and grow the skills and awareness within our own institutions.

For partners: Green Investment: WYCC secures funding for projects that equips colleges and partners with the capacity to deliver technical and green business skills in the region such as the Strategic Development Fund.

We aim to support businesses to make the journey to carbon efficiency, as we take the journey ourselves.
