Green Consortium

The Green Consortium is a network of partnerships with the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges and its colleges at the core.

Working together with colleges, educators, partners and employers The Green Consortium aims to develop the green skills offer, grow the college internal skills and awareness and work towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the region.

Much of this work is already taking place with the Strategic Development Fund supporting a cascade training and action planning project for SDGs among eight West Yorkshire Colleges.

Alongside this, the consortium is working with partners across the region to feed intelligence into colleges and training providers, to support course development and bid for funding where appropriate.
