Higher Performing Workplaces - opportunities to tender

The West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges is seeking training providers to develop and deliver training programmes under its Higher Performing Workplaces (HPW) contract.

The contract is funded by the European Social Fund and will meet the skills needs of SMEs in the Leeds City Region. The intention is to work with partners to grow internal talent in SMEs ‘poised for growth’. Higher Performing Workplaces aims to:

  • Improve staff motivation, leadership, communication and teamwork
  • Increase staff retention
  • Enhance employee involvement and commitment
  • Ensure higher levels of financial performance

The project will be delivered via four 'Lots':

  • Lot 1 - Export and Innovation
  • Lot 2 - Innovative Working and Employment Practices
  • Lot 3 - Empowering Leaders
  • Lot 4 - Effective Human Resources

  • Training will be 40% part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF), enabling employers to access quality training at a reduced cost.

    • The deadline for the return of submissions is by 5pm Friday 8 November 2019.
