New training of West Yorkshire college staff underway through FE Catalyst Learning

Newly developed training of West Yorkshire FE colleges' curriculum staff is now underway. This training is being delivered as part of the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges' FE Catalyst Learning project.

The pilot project, funded by the Department for Education, will build capacity and increase expertise through peer-to-peer learning delivered by a range of experts.

Recently, eight learning influencers from five West Yorkshire colleges attended Kirklees College to receive training from Graeme Blench on belongingness and emotions coaching.

As part of the project, learning influencers appointed within each college will further embed the training through internal delivery to colleagues across the curriculum.

Speaking about the training, Andrew Whitehead from Leeds College of Building said -

"The trainer, Graeme, was excellent and we look forward to embedding the key theories and topics from the content within the curriculum at Leeds College of Building."

Find out more about the expert knowledge facilitators who are delivering training through the project.
